Every April, our family has two reasons to celebrate in the same week. My daughter’s birthday and our wedding anniversary.
This year she turned three and we hit six years. So in the first week of April 2026, we booked one night at Khoj Allana Resort.
Two hours from Karachi
The resort is about a two-hour drive from Karachi. That’s close enough for a one-night trip with kids, and far enough that it feels like you’ve actually gone somewhere.
What we got
It’s a beach resort with cabanas all along the sand. Our villa was beachfront, with its own private pool.
The kids had so much fun. Between the pool and the beach, they didn’t stop all day.
The breakfast buffet was a highlight too. It’s the kind of breakfast that makes you skip lunch.
One night, two celebrations, and kids who didn’t want to leave.
Was it worth the price?
It isn’t cheap. I’ll say that clearly. But for a birthday and an anniversary in one trip, it was worth it.
I’d happily make this a yearly booking, for one of our birthdays or whatever we’re celebrating next.
